This Cancellation and Return Policy explains your rights and obligations when purchasing artworks, art prints, and frames from Zacharias Gallery.

Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may request to cancel your order before it has been dispatched or collected.

If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, a full refund will be issued.

If the order has already been prepared for shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Right of Withdrawal for Online Purchases (EU Customers)

For online purchases within the European Union, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods, without providing a reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing by email within the 14-day period.

Conditions for Returns

Returned items must:

• Be unused and in their original condition
• Be returned in original packaging
• Not be damaged after delivery
• Include proof of purchase

The customer is responsible for ensuring the safe return of the item.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

• Original artworks (unless damaged upon delivery)
• Commissioned or custom-made artworks
• Personalized or custom-sized frames
• Items that have been altered after purchase

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence.

After reviewing the claim, we may offer:

• Replacement
• Repair
• Refund

This will be decided at our discretion after inspection.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect due to our error.

Delivery charges, including the €10 ACS pickup fee, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

In-Store Purchases

Purchases made directly at the gallery may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless the item is defective.
